My Gift For You!

On this Valentine’s Day, Ladybug Wreaths wants to wish you LOVE & HAPPINESS!  Couples throughout the world are exchanging gifts of candy, flowers, and exciting surprises all because of St. Valentine.

Because of this mysterious saint, February has been named the month of “Romance”.  And, on this one day alone, almost 150 million Valentine’s Day cards are being exchanged.  Did you know this is the second most popular card-sending holiday after Christmas?

Of The Many Stories About St. Valentine…

He lived during the third century when most young men were not allowed to marry because Emperor Claudius II decided single men made better soldiers than those with wives and families.  These men married in secret anyway, and were eventually put to death.

Other stories suggest that Valentine was killed for attempting to help Christians escape harsh Roman prisons.  This man sent the first “Valentine” greeting after he fell in love with a young girl who visited him often.  His last note to her was signed “From your Valentine” – an expression that is still used today.

There are many other stories of unrequited love associated with Valentine’s Day making it a “day for lovers” as they convey their true feelings with hearts, candy, candle-lit dinners and more.

It is our wish that you will receive a special remembrance today from a loved one.  You are special!  You are loved!  You are important!

Steve is taking time off for us to spend some special time together.  I just returned from a business trip to Indianapolis, and I was missed!  I’m really not sure what he has planned, but I’m sure it will be wonderful!

Linda and Doug have a special romantic weekend planned in San Jose, California, after Doug attends some meetings. I’m sure they’ll have a fabulous, romantic time together also.

  1. Hi Nancy,

I am SO thankful that my path crossed with yours – you have helped me overcome some HUGE obstacles this past year! I Thank God for you and your generous coaching! I can also see the love of Christ in you and Steve’s eyes and that makes me even more proud to have met such a genuine person that truly cares about the success of others!

My hubby was in Florida since the 4th of this month, taking care of his mother, who has breast cancer. There are 6 kids and they have each been taking turns (taking vacation if necessary) to come help out. His father died the Friday after Christmas, so this has been a particularly difficult year for the Moseley clan! He will be coming back home this Saturday and I am like a little girl, eagerly awaiting her knight in shining armor!!

    Love,
